Software Developer with API Experience
Seeking a web developer with experience building web integrations with multiple third party applications, i.e. Payment Gateways and Learning Management Systems (LMS), utilizing web services, FTP file transfer and other technologies to enhance the company’s premier web-based application for education administration.

Job entails:

  • Become familiar with the nuances of all existing integrations.
  • Interact with clients for gathering requirements and/or explaining causes for failures/user errors when needed.
  • Analysis of Learning Management System API’s and other documentation.
  • Technical interaction with third party software developers during implementation, tests and ongoing support.
  • Devise solutions working with the internal team of architect and developers and client support team.
  • Support QA in resolving eventual issues.
  • Document the integration environment, business rules and procedural steps.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in software development
  • Minimum 3 years experience in C#
  • Minimum 2 years experience in API

Seeking a dynamic, hands-on Sales Executive with experience in education technology sales, who is tech savvy, motivated to sell, and has an education client book. Will work in conjunction with sales tech support to develop marketing strategies, bring in new leads, form partnerships, and close sales.Responsibilities:

 

  • Gain a full understanding of the product and be able to deliver product demonstrations/presentations as necessary
  • Present at trade shows as an SME on Digital Learning

Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert user of Maestro SIS and applying project management methodology processes for timely deliveries of ongoing new releases and customizations.
  • Provide leadership & structure to established development team, including technical guidance
  • Oversee and improve upon the Quality Assurance processes, making sure that all project deliverables are accurately documented and tested.
  • Manage allocation of resources- Estimate effort required, identify key skills of team & determine how to best allocate those skills against the work at hand
  • Collaborate with BocaVox sales, support and development teams to achieve the company’s goals of providing a mature product that is scalable and customizable to each client institution. Explore, leverage & introduce best practices to the dev teams that are most relevant for K12 and higher education.
  • Deploy flawless releases for customers. Work with team to build implementation plans/process and roadmaps for integrations, factoring in custom requirements, resources, and costs.
  • Provide assurance that 100% readiness has been achieved prior to all “go live” dates, and ongoing progress reports to both BocaVox teams & their customers
  • Manage client expectations with eloquence and diplomacy. Help prioritize new timelines and commitments based on cost and available resources.

Senior Database Administrator

Senior Database Administrator

BocaVox is seeking a candidate with experience working with large systems who can take charge of the design, implementation and support of the existing hosting infrastructure, finding ways to optimize Maestro Student Information System and administrative software for schools and colleges.

The candidate must reside within 25 miles of zip code 33327 and be prepared to work on site within 2 months. Database Administrator will evaluate database configuration and access, and resolve database performance and capacity issues while also performing database recovery and updates.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Perform ongoing maintenance of databases
  • Support both SQL and eventual AZURE database environments, assisting developers in designing/configuring development, test, and production environments.
  • Monitor environments for performance.
  • Act as a member of the Incident Response Team, and communicate to clients with poise and confidence
  • Review service-related reports daily to ensure issues are identified and resolved within in a timely manner
  • Respond to alerts and escalations and devise with solutions.
  • Develop and modify existing databases
  • Develop ongoing assessments of database performance and identify problem areas
  • Plan, coordinate and implement security measures including regular audits to safeguard information in databases and computer files against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification, or disclosure

REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 5 years SQL server experience, preferably 10 years in combined Information Technology, software development and SQL DBA
